Confirmed - All of Mayo's potential Round Two All-Ireland opponents

Following today’s narrow one-point win over Monaghan in Clones, the next step in the race for Sam Maguire has become a lot clearer

Andy Moran’s Mayo have taken one step closer to the latter stages of the All-Ireland Championship following today’s win over Monaghan.

Nerves were high in both camps as they made their way to Saint Tiernach’s Park.

However, the travelling soldiers held their nerve to ensure a one-point win and they advanced at the expense of the Farney men.

Mayo now stand only one win away from the All-Ireland quarter-finals.

After leaving Clones with the win in tow, the Green and Red will be in Pot Two A along with the other victors from Round One.

The draw takes place on Tuesday, June 2. The first team out of the pot will play at home.

The Round Two A fixtures will take place on the weekend of June 13/14.

The list of teams in Round Two A are as follows:

MAYO, Donegal, Galway, Cork, Tyrone, Armagh, Westmeath and Louth
