CONFIRMED: Mayo learn fate in All-Ireland Championship draw
The Green and Red learned their next opponent after the draw on RTÉ’s ‘Morning Ireland’ show
It has been confirmed that Mayo are set to play Tyrone in Round Two of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
Following on from Sunday’s clash with Monaghan in Clones, all ears in the county were eagerly listening to hear who they would face in the next phase of the hunt for Sam Maguire.
Now, after the draw on RTE Radio One’s ‘Morning Ireland’ programme, with the draw taking place in the Hudson Bay Hotel in Athlone, the Green and Red know precisely who they will meet next.
Andy Moran’s troops have been drawn to face Tyrone in the next round.
As Mayo were drawn from the pot second, the game will be a away fixture. The fixture will take place in Healy Park, Omagh.
Fixture details will be announced in due course. However, the game is set to take place on the weekend of June 13/14.
