The Mayo Mountain Rescue team has responded to a call-out on Croagh Patrick, where a female hiker required medical assistance today, (Monday, April 20).
Following an initial assessment, we requested support from the Irish Coast Guard helicopter. The casualty was then safely evacuated and transferred to the hospital for further treatment.
The Mayo Mountain Rescue team has extended their thanks to the Irish Coast Guard for their assistance and wished the casualty a full and speedy recovery.
