Proud Mayo and Westport man Conor Walsh has been announced as a Shelbourne player following an off-season transfer from Sligo Rovers.
The net-minder makes the switch to the capital club for an undisclosed fee and will be part of the 2024 League of Ireland kings' squad for the 2026 League of Ireland season.

The former Rice College student has earned plenty of first-team appearances for the Bit O' Red since making his senior debut in 2022, as well as loan moves to Wexford FC and Finn Harps.
He also deputised well over a six-game period in the absence of regular shot-stopper Sam Sargeant in the campaign just gone.
Walsh has represented the Boys in Green at underage level, including appearances for the Under-21s against Sweden and Scotland.
Head coach Joey O'Brien was full of praise for the Clew Bay native. “Delighted to get Conor in the building," he stated. "He’s a young, hungry goalkeeper with first-team experience, who we feel over time will develop into a top goalkeeper.
"He’ll be working closely with the best goalkeeper coach in the country, in Paul Skinner, alongside our other goalkeepers. We feel Conor can flourish at our football club.”
Those sentiments were echoed by the club's Technical Director, Luke Byrne.
“Conor is an ambitious, determined young man and a very talented goalkeeper. We’ve been monitoring him for a long time and see him as a really good addition to our goalkeeping department.
