Murrisk Development Association held an Appreciation Night for former TD and Minister, Michael Ring, on Friday December 5, in Murrisk Community Centre. Murrisk Development Association acknowledged and applauded Michael for all of his work and delivery to Murrisk and beyond.
The Speakers on the night included Frank McCarrick, Chairperson, Murrisk Development Association. Frank McCarrick commended Michael for his great work and acknowledged all that he had done during his political life. Chris Grady cited Michael’s work and dedication on delivering the Murrisk Community Water Connection. Christy Hyland also took the opportunity to highlight all that Michael had delivered to Mayo in his political life. Michael then spoke and thanked the people of Murrisk for this wonderful evening and he in turn, acknowledged the work that the volunteers of the area carry out and who work so well in conjunction with local Public Representatives.
Murrisk Development Association then proceeded to make a presentation to Michael Ring and his wife, Anne. Former councillor Christy Hyland was also acknowledged for his role in highlighting the poor water supply to Murrisk during his time on Mayo County Council and was also given a presentation on behalf of the Murrisk community.
