Mayo Minister to address important tourism AGM

Donal O’Shea, Chairman, Westport Tourism Organisation, is delighted to announce that Alan Dillon TD, Minister of State for Employment, Small Business and Retail in the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, will address the organisation’s Annual General Meeting.

It is a public meeting open to all and will take place at 2pm in the Seán Staunton Room, Westport Town Hall, on Friday next, November 14.

Mr O'Shea is looking forward to “a very positive AGM because there is so much good news to share about Westport and Mayo at the moment.”

Following the usual business of the AGM, there will be 5 min presentations by:

- UNESCO Joyce Country & Western Lakes Geopark

- Marina Development Group

- West On Track

This will be followed by an address by guest speaker Alan Dillon TD. It promises to be a very informative meeting. Refreshments will be available afterwards so don’t be in a hurry to leave.
