Senior final:

I think the green machine from Ballina will conclude a historic feat and win three in a row. The group stage defeat in Crossmolina was but a blip in the matrix. It was a case of 'a defeat at the right time'.

As a famous South African rugby player once said: "If we hadn't lost to Ireland in the group stage, we wouldn't have won the World Cup."

The Stephenites overcame a much-fancied Ballaghaderreen and brushed neighbours Knockmore aside with ease. Ballina to win by seven.

VERDICT: Ballina Stephenites

Intermediate final:

I have a feel there is a calm seriousness about the way Kilmeena are doing their championship business.

Under the reign of new manager Damien Egan, The Clew Bay men breezed through their group and comfortably won their knock-out matches.

The big plus on their team: They know HOW to win finals. Moy Davitts don't. Kilmeena strike back and get straight back up to senior.

VERDICT: Kilmeena
