The Mayo LGFA Championships are sprinting towards a frenetic and tantalising climax, as six teams remain in the hunt for Senior, Intermediate, and Junior finals.
Now, the picture has become clearer for the fans and players alike, as everyone knows precisely where and when the deciders will take place.
The first final down for decision is the Intermediate one. Claremorris and MacHale Rovers played out a thriller in Bekan at the League decider. Both sides have stacks of ability, and will hopefully serve up another classic in the joust for senior football in 2026.
The game throws in in MacHale Park on Saturday, October 4, at 1 pm.
Immediately after, Parke-KC and Swinford-Killasser will do battle for the title of Junior Queens. Swinford-Killasser are ell-bent on making their spell in the third tier as short as possible, but they could potentially face their match when they come up against Parke's posse of top ballers.
The Royal Rumble gets underway at 3 pm.
Lastly, it's the battle for Jimmy Corbett. Westport made history by lifting their first-ever county title last year, and twelve months on, familiar foes Knockmore await on the Castlebar turf, having swept aside all before them en route to wrestling back their 2023 crown.
This clash of the titans will get underway at 2 pm on Sunday, October 12.
