Almost 350 community members were present for the Culture Night celebrations, which took place last Friday, September 19, in Westport.
Stephanie McKinnon from Westport Family and Community Resource Centre expressed her delight for Culture Night 2025 in Westport.
“Westport is a wonderful place to live, and nights like this make that truth shine even brighter.
“Seeing neighbours, newcomers, and friends old and new gathered together was a reminder of the strength and warmth of our town. We often say community is built in moments big and small, and last Friday, Westport showed exactly what that looks like,” she added.
She then went on to express her gratitude for those who took part in Culture Night 2025.
"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all who joined us. A special thanks to those who made it happen – the participants who shared their culture so generously, our volunteers who gave their time and energy, the Castlecourt Hotel for lending the tables, and the Sacred Heart School for providing the space. This celebration was truly for and by the community, and we are so proud to have been part of it."
