Roadworks into busy Mayo town to take place today

Works on a road into one of Mayo's busiest towns is due to cause delays throughout today (Thursday, August 14), according to the County Council.

Today, surface dressing works will take place on the R-330, which services commuters between Westport and Partry. The circa-6.5-kilometre stretch of road is in the Meneen area.

Throughout the works, traffic management will be in place via a convoy system. HGVs will be diverted via Castlebar at Partry.
