Competing was a huge honour in itself, but the unstoppable duo romped to further success with Freya claiming gold after finishing the 3000m distance in a time of 9.27.87.

Her sibling, Holly, secured bronze after she finished in third in a time of 9.38.25. In the middle of the dynamic Westport duo, Kitty Scott from England claimed silver after she finished in a solid 9.31.70.

This success adds to the Renton’s collection of medals, which is growing at a rapid pace. Freya and Holly represented their school, Sacred Heart Westport, at the event and are establishing themselves among the brightest stars in the sport.
