Mayo beach closed: Do not swim notice issued after water quality alert

Mayo County Council have issued a Do Not Swim notice for a beach in the county.

Clare Island Beach is closed following the results of water samples received yesterday.

Resampling will take place and the notice remains in place until water quality improves.
