The Business All-Star Travel Superteam 2025 accreditation is awarded by the AIBF, an independent national accreditation body that champions excellence among Irish businesses.

Westport-based Emer McDermott told The Mayo News that it was very much ‘a team award’ and a ‘recognition of the care and commitment we show to our customers’ and our ‘dedication to excellence.’
Travel Counsellors Ireland is part of a global network of 2,000 travel professionals, with over 85 based in Ireland.
McDermott, who was recently crowned the top performing Travel Counsellor in Ireland in 2025, notes that travel to the United States hasn’t slowed down in light of the trade tariffs introduced by US President Donald Trump.
In fact, she says that more and more families are looking at travelling to the United States compared to previous years. This is in part because the cost of a European sun holiday has gone up for families and as a result, families are exploring visiting the US and the Far East instead.
