The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, in aid of Movember, will take place in Westport in May.
Mayo is set to host the world’s largest motorcycling charity event, as the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride touches down in Westport on Sunday, May 18.
The event sees tens of thousands of ‘distinguished gentlefolk’ on two wheels ride their vintage bikes in their finest tweed suits and with their best cravats in aid of Movember.

The event was founded in 2014 and has expanded around the globe since. Now, it’s touching down in the West.
This year, they’ll be aiming for record numbers, and Westport is one of the many towns internationally from which they’ll be setting off.
On May 18, it is anticipated that over 40 motorcyclists draped in their Sunday best will start their engines and set off together for the event in aid of men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.
They will meet at the Quay at midday, before taking off on their journey west to Newport at 1pm.
Many of those will sit atop a range of classic and vintage motorcycles, and the key message is simple: all funds raised will be used in order to help men live happier, healthier, and longer lives.
