The three businesses included from Mayo are Irish Soda Bread Way, Calvey’s Achill Mountain Lamb, and Greenway Lane Art Studio and Café.
Irish Soda Bread Way offers group classes in Westport for those who wish to learn how to make their own brown soda bread or white soda scones in the traditional Irish style.
Calvey’s Achill Mountain Lamb is located on the island of Achill, and offers tours of the farm which had been in the Calvey family since 1962, as well as a tasting experience in their on-farm butchery.
Greenway Lane Art Studio & Café offers a unique blend of food and art classes just off the Greenway between Burrishoole and Carrowbeg.
There, you can partake in a multitude of art classes, including a sea glass art workshop and an acrylic pour workshop, alongside afternoon tea.
The CEO of Good Food Ireland, Margaret Jaffares, hopes that the site can help drive more custom to these unique ventures.
“I’m delighted to feature such unique Mayo food businesses on our platform, which are ideal for both international visitors and those looking for something different to experience when holidaying at home,” she stated.
