Beer fanatics in Mayo are being offered a unique opportunity to learn how to brew their own beer as part of a one-day course.

The brewing class, which will be led by co-founder Cillian Ó’Moráin, will see those in attendance brewing the Mescan Blond Beer, which the company produces for sale.

Attendees will get a full start-to-finish experience of the brewing process, including how to mill grain, make a brew, and start the fermentation process.

Those at the course will also get to taste a range of the eight beers that the company produces on-site. They will also get the opportunity to taste beers that are brewed specifically to demonstrate individual beer components.

A lunch made of local meat, cheese, bread and salad is also available.

Tickets are €160 per person for groups of two or more and can be purchased here.
