'I'm proud of you': Mayo podcast star hails brother's award

It's gold for Mayo! The Westport Walking Tours have been celebrating their tenth anniversary this year. And now the touristic attraction has received the award for "Best Walking Tour In Ireland" for the third time.
 
The Westport Walking Tours were set up n 2015 by Stephen Clarke, after his uncle Martin passed away. He didn’t know much about business but loved Westport and loved telling people about it.
 
 
His work is paying off big time. And Stephen's brother Alan Clarke, himself a national award winning podcast host, has congratulated his brother on social media:
 
"I’m super proud of my brother Stephen for winning BEST WALKING TOUR IN IRELAND for the third time at the CIE Tours awards of excellence. It’s an absolute credit to the fantastic guides Martin, Ed, Deirdre, Darren & Eamon who keep the show on the road every summer season. Stephen’s dedication to tourism in Westport is nothing short of exceptional and to see him collect the award in Dublin whilst overcoming back surgery recently, made me the proudest brother in the world."
 
 
Clarke went on to praise the Westport Walking Tours for being 'such a huge asset to The beautiful town of Westport, the hotels, pubs, restaurants and shops. Don’t forget “You’ll enjoy your holiday more with a Westport Walking Tour.'
