WEATHER UPDATE: What are our chances of a dry weekend in Mayo?

Met Éireann's weekend weather forecast

After a windy and partially wet June bank holiday weekend with the Mayo Pride festival taking place in Westport:

Can we expect stable weather conditions for the upcoming weekend?

According to Met Éireann, tomorrow's forecast for Connacht shows a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers.

During the afternoon, it will become cloudier with showers merging into longer spells of rain by evening. Highs of 12 to 15 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.

And throughout the whole weekend, there will be one constant feature in Mayo: It'll be wet and not too mild.

There will be showers on Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures ranging around 12-14 degrees, but it'll feel a few degrees colder due to the strong breeze of up to 32 km/h over the weekend, based on the Met Éireann forecast.
