There is a small chance of sleet on mountains in the south and east. It will be a dry day across the rest of the country with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in light to moderate northerly winds.

Monday night will see any lingering rain in the east and south gradually clear into the Irish Sea overnight. It will be cold with lowest temperatures of -1 to +3 degrees and frost and icy patches developing in light northwesterly winds.

Tuesday will be a generally dry day with sunny spells, the best of these in the east with cloudier conditions and the chance of isolated light showers further west. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.

Wednesday will be a dull, cloudy day with a band of rain pushing into the northwest and spreading southeastwards across the country through the day. It will be breezy with moderate to fresh, occasionally strong, southwesterly winds. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees.

Thursday is due to stay cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. It will be quite mild with the highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest to west winds.
