It has been confirmed that one of Mayo's busiest roads is due to undergo road repairs, with delays to be anticipated for Mayo commuters.
Mayo County Council have confirmed that the stretch of road at the R320/N5 junction will undergo closures from yesterday (Monday, June 16).

The N5 is one of the most travelled routes in the county, while the R320 is used by those commuting between the towns of Swinford and Kiltimagh.
There will be temporary traffic management in place at the site, with motorists advised to either allow extra time on their drives or use alternative roads.
