A Mayo man has shown his show-jumping pedigree on the world stage, after her secured a massive win at the International Global Champions Tour yesterday (Sunday, September 14).
Ciaran Nallon, who hails from Knockmore, rode his horse 'Little Special in Red' to glory at the event, which took place in the German town of Riesenbeck.
The 24-year-old has no want of experience in the sport, with one of the highlights of his career coming back in 2023 when he helped Ireland to gold medal glory in the European Young Riders Championships in Gorla Minore, Italy.
Sunday's victory in the 7/8 year old youngster tour final was somewhat of a hometown victory for Nallon, who trains out of the Beerbaum Stables in Riesenbeck.
The win for the talented show-jumper will be seen as a significant notch in his belt as he continues his bid to earn points which would see him into the Champions Tour and Global Champions League.
