Last Sunday at the Dressage Ireland National Championships in Ballindenisk Co Cork, Sinead McGrath of Ballyjennings Stables riding her homebred TISH BallyMax were crowned Champions of the four year old DAFM Young horse class with a score of over 77%.

Ballyj Max bred by her husband Fintan McGrath in Ballyjennings Stables Ballinrobe Co. Mayo is a four year old by Black Hero RID and out of Memories of Emily TB follows in the footsteps of his full brother Ballyj Ed who won the HSI series in 2022. Ballyj Ed was also bred and ridden by Fintan and Sinead McGrath.

This recent success represents a major achievement for the Mc Grath’s in Ballinrobe who claimed national glory.
