MAYO captain David Kenny was in Croke Park this afternoon getting reacquainted with the Nicky Rackard Cup ahead of Sunday's championship final with Donegal. The Tooreen clubman will be hoping the green and red ribbons will be on the famous trophy when the final whistle sounds at the end of the big match which gets underway at 4.15pm.
Mayo last win the trophy in 2021.
Kenny's men take on the Ulster side with a pep in their step having shown great resilience to draw with Roscommon last time out after producing some excellent hurling against Armagh the previous round. Of course, Mayo will be wary of Donegal, having tasted defeat at the hands of the green and gold earlier in the competition.
It promises to be a thrilling encounter and we will have full coverage here and in Tuesday's Mayo News
