THE Mayo ladies face a difficult away trip to All-Ireland champions Dublin in the first round of the TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship on Sunday, June 9.
All-Ireland winning former Mayo footballer Diane O’Hora will then face her native county when her Kildare team make the trip to Mayo for the second round on Saturday, June 15.
The top two teams in the three-team group will advance to the All-Ireland quarter-finals, with the group-toppers securing a home advantage.
Kildare have entered this year’s Senior championship after O’Hora guided them to an All-Ireland Intermediate title with a 2-11 to 2-10 win over Clare last year.
Additionally, all Senior Championship games not shown live on linear TV will be live-streamed via the Spórt TG4 YouTube channel.
Mayo’s meeting with Dublin will throw-in at Parnell Park, Dublin, at 2.50pm on June 8 and will be shown live on TG4.
Liam McHale’s charges were defeated by Galway in their most recent outing in the Connacht final.
Elsewhere, the Mayo U-16s’ All-Ireland semi-final meeting with Kerry has been scheduled for Thursday, June 27 at 7.30pm. The venue has yet to be confirmed.
Francis Regan’s side won the Connacht ‘A’ title earlier this year after an enthralling win over Galway after extra-time.
Their All-Ireland semi-final opponents, Kerry, clinched the Munster ‘A’ title after a two-point win over Cork.
