AUDIO Football Podcast #31: New Mayo manager to be named this week; Ballintubber and Mitchels make club final
Host Rob Murphy and this week's guests Mike Finnerty, Sean Rice and Daniel Carey discuss the latest developments in the ongoing Mayo senior football manager saga. Tommy Lyons, James Horan and Anthony McGarry are all in the running for the job after John Maughan pulled out last week. And, despite what some people might have you believe, it may not be a one horse race. All will be revealed on Wednesday night.
In part 2 of this week's podcast, Rob, Mike, Sean and Daniel talk about the Mayo senior and intermediate club football championship semi-finals. It was a weekend for the underdogs as Castlebar Mitchels upset Knockmore and Ballintubber ousted Shrule/Glencorrib. We discuss both games in detail while we also review the Intermediate semi finals where Burrishoole and Tourmakeady are still standing. You can also hear the thoughts of the winning managers: Peter Ford, James Horan, Colm McManamon and Jack Grimes.
