Triple Crown and Six Nations trophies to visit Mayo on Wednesday

The trophies held here by rugby star Bundee Aki will be in Mayo on Wednesday

There will be great excitement across Mayo tomorrow (Wednesday) when the Triple Crown and Six Nations trophies visit the county. Rugby clubs are inviting one and all to come along and see the historic trophies and large crowds are expected at all four venues.

The trophies will be in Ballina RFC between 1.30 and 2.30pm. The next stop on the trophy-tour will be Castlebar RFC from 3.30 to 4.30pm. Westport will host the silverware between 5 and 6pm while Claremorris will be the final stop of the day between 7 and 8pm.

Mayo man Caelan Doris was a central figure as Ireland defeated all-comers in the Six Nations Championship and the squad are currently in Portugal preparing for the upcoming World Cup.
