Excitement in the Mayo club soccer scene has gone up a notch following the release of the fixture diary for the 2026 campaign.
The return of the local leagues was due to take place on Sunday, February 1. However, the start date was pushed back.
Now, the parks and pitches around the county are due to come alive again in the not-too-distant future.
Round One of the Super League, Premier League, League One, and League Two is pencilled in for the weekend of February 28/March 1.
The final day of the league season is down for the weekend of September 5/6.
The Super League will operate on a split-season basis, with all ten sides playing each other once before the top five and bottom five sides split into separate 'mini-leagues' to play each other twice each, once at home and once away.
The final round of the first phase will take place on the weekend of June 6/7, while the 'mini-leagues' will commence on June 20/21.
The weekend of March 21/22 will see the start of the Tuohy, McDonnell, Benson and Tonra Cups.
The Tuohy and McDonnell Cup finals are scheduled for the weekend of July 4/5, while the Benson and Tonra Cup deciders are down for July 18/19.
The opening round of the Mayo Super Cup and Premier Cup will take place on the weekend of Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26.
The Premier Cup and Super Cup finals will take place on the weekend of September 12/13.
