Mayo soccer side to represent Ireland in international competition

Manulla FC will be representing both Mayo and Ireland with pride as they head across the Irish Sea for an international tournament this weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday the Manulla U-12 Girls will be in Newcastle for the Newcastle International Summer Cup.

The side will be kicking off in the two-day festival of football at Newcastle University, and set off from Castlebar train station earlier this week with hopes of going all the way in the competition.

Over 50 teams will be involved across the tournament, with sides from Australia, America, and the UAE all making their way to the North-East of England for the event.
