The netminder had a tough outing. Failed to clear the ball, when he dashed forward in the 11th minute, leaving his goal wide open behind him, which was punished by an excellent shot by Daragh Murtaugh for Longford's 1:1.
In the 18th minute Hester deflected a cross right in front of Murtaugh, who effortlessly finished for the 2:2. Hester redeemed himself later on with two brilliant saves and an unreal reflex with his right foot.
