Mayo soccer club Castlebar Celtic are set to launch an appeal into their FAI Junior Cup loss to Waterford’s Villa FC last Sunday.

Stevie Gavin’s side lost 3-0 in their February 16 clash in the South-East. However, Villa are alleged to have fielded a player who has played for a team in a League of Ireland competition this season, thus ruling him out of last Sunday’s clash.
