THERE was Westport delight in London on Saturday when Eoin McKeown scored for Hemel Hempstead Town FC in a National League South match at The Focus Community Arena. The 25-year-old striker is impressing for the team known as The Tudors and was delighted to come off the bench and score in yesterday's 4-2 win over Chippenham FC.
The goal was greeted with great delight by a group of friends in the crowd who had made the trip from Mayo to see McKeown in action.
Eoin, is son of Westport native Ciaran McKeown and is pictured after the game with his father and their Westport friends John Casey, Martin O’Malley, Brendan McNally, and Stephen Duffy.
