A one-sided affair saw Ballinrobe Community School clinching the Ladies U-20 B Connacht title in impressive fashion with a team bolstered by several members of the school's the All-Ireland winning junior Gaelic football team.

A hat-trick from Emma Dowling - who scored twice in the first 20 minutes - saw Ballinrobe secure a comprehensive five-goal win over Coláiste Éinde of Salthill. 

Further goals from Ursula Shaughnessy, Róise Burke, captain Maura Hughes and a third by Dowling in the second half sealed the deal for the Mayo girls, who are managed by Edel Mullin and Imelda Flynn.
