Mayo man Caelan Doris has learned his fate as Andy Farrell has named his starting side to take on France in the curtain-raiser of the Six Nations.
Ireland head to the Stade de France aiming to get a statement win on Thursday evening at one of the most difficult venues in world rugby.
Head coach Farrell has placed his confidence in his captain, Doris, to lead the line in Paris.
The Lacken native is in from the off, starting in the number eight position.
Leinster's finest takes his place in an experimental side for his 57th international cap.
The action commences in Paris at 8.10 pm.
