Next March, Mayo is set for a visit from one of the most famous faces in world rugby when iconic referee Nigel Owens takes to the stage.

Owens, who carved out an illustrious career as the man behind the decisions, will entertain audiences at 'A Night With Nigel Owens' in the TF Royal theatre in Castlebar.

The event will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026.

On the evening, the Welshman will offer the audience a peek behind the curtain on some of the key moments of his decades as a referee, from the Rugby World Cup to his three Heineken Cup finals in succession, a record number of appearances.

The second half of the show will be a Q&A session, offering those in attendance the opportunity to pick the brains of the famous face.

Tickets for the event are priced at €43.05 (including booking fee), and can be purchased by clicking here.

A 'VIP' ticket option is also available. Those who purchase the tickets priced at €87.95 will be seated in the front two rows, will be part of a pre-show meet and greet at 6.30 pm, and will also receive a photograph and photo opportunity. 'VIP' tickets are available here.
