Mayo native living in Galway well remembered in local circles after death

Joan Keane, Claregalway, formerly Fallon from Gardenfield, Hollymount, Mayo RIP

THE death took place last week of Joan Keane, Claregalway. She was formerly Fallon from Gardenfield, Hollymount, Mayo.

Joan was a member of a well-known and highly regarded family in the Hollymount region and news of her passing was received with much sadness around the area.

Many warm tributes have been paid to Joan by friends who remember her for kindness, good nature and generous outreach to so many people.

The local community around the Hollymount region join with us in extending condolences to the Fallon and Keane families as they mourn the passing of Joan.

Reposing was at Corrandulla Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday evening with removal from her home on Thursday to St Brendan's Church Corrandulla for Requiem Mass. Interment took place afterwards in Cregg Cemetery.

Joan, who was predeceased by her parents Tom and Nuala and her sister Eithne, will be sadly missed by her husband Tim, her daughters Yolande and Yvette, her sons Kevin and Keith, her grandchildren Lucy, Daniel, Laura, Naoise, Joey, Iarla, Amy and Isabella, her brothers John and PJ, her sisters Irene, Moll, Yvonne and Carol, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
