Meet ten-month-old Bambi, an affectionate Whippet-type girl who desperately needs a new loving home
Mutt of the Month
March — Bambi
I’m Bambi, a ten-month-old Whippet-type gal. I am a calm and chilled little lady, soft as my fuzzy coat. I am quite small and very fine boned and delicate. I think in my next life I could come back as a ballerina! I would do really well in a home without too much hurly burly, as I dislike lots of noise and commotion. I would be a great doggie companion for someone who enjoyed nice long walks, but was not mad about hiking up the side of mountains. Or who liked a game of chase, but didn’t need it to end in everyone falling down in a state of exhausted collapse. I suppose I mean a middle-of-the-road attitude towards the daily exercise regime.
I am very affectionate and a real snuggle babe. I love a good cuddle – and the idea of having my own person or people, with a couch, a fire, a TV … My life would be complete with all that.
Bambi is just one of many Mayo and Galway rescue dogs at Connemara-based Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption (MADRA) looking for a loving home. All dogs will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Please see www.madra.ie, visit MADRA’s Facebook page or call or text Marina on 086 8149026.
