PET’S CORNER January’s Mutt of the Month: Boogie Bear

Meet five-month-old Boogie Bear, an affectionate Rottweiler cross who desperately needs a new loving home

Boogie Bear

Mutt of the Month
January — Boogie Bear

Boogie Bear is exactly that. He is a big bear that boogies his bum when he walks in true Rottweiler style. This little guy is not a full Rottie though, he is not as big, and his head is not quite so large, but he does have that fabulous soft Rottie personality, though and he is only a babe of about five months old.
Boogie just lives to please you and to snuggle in just as close as he possibly can, trying to prove to you just how much he loves you. He stares unblinking into your eyes, willing you to love him back. He is just irresistible.
Boogie will need someone home during the day and good fencing. He will be a med/large boy when fully grown, and although he is a little shy now, MADRA would love to see him meet a family who can bring out his playful side. He is such a well mannered boy now, but the kennel volunteers just know there is a puppy in there somewhere. He just needs a little encouragement!

Boogie Bear is just one of many Mayo and Galway rescue dogs at Connemara-based Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption (MADRA) looking for a loving home. All dogs will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Please see www.madra.ie, visit MADRA’s Facebook page or call or text Marina on 086 8149026.
