Mayo tennis club to host charity socials doubles event

A Mayo tennis club is hosting a special event this upcoming weekend.

Castlebar Tennis Club, in conjunction with Tennis Ireland, is proud to host a Tennis 4 Cancer Social Doubles Morning on Sunday, April 19 from 11am to 1pm at the club grounds. This special event aims to bring the community together through sport while raising vital funds for cancer support and research services.

Open to both members and non-members, the morning promises a fun and inclusive atmosphere with social doubles tennis suitable for all levels of ability.

A €10 donation is requested to participate, with all proceeds going towards supporting important cancer charities, including ARC Cancer Support Centres and the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.

The club is encouraging a strong turnout from the local community to help make the event a great success and maximise fundraising efforts.
