Mayo News tips for Day Two of the Cheltenham Festival

MJD and ROD go head to head to try and find some winners as the second day of the Cheltenham Festival gets underway

Mayo News tips for Day Two of the Cheltenham Festival

Today marks the second day of the Cheltenham Festival and after yesterday's disappointing day, both Michael Duffy and Ronan O’Donnell will be looking to find some winners today across a race-card featuring many big field races.

Racing will get underway at 1.20 today with the feature race, the Queen Mother Champion Chase taking place at 4.00. Across today’s race-card, there are plenty of Irish runners with chances including in the final race where the Willie Mullins trained Quiryn runs. Owned by the Masterson family who are from Achill, Paul Townend is on board in what is certainly a wide-open renewal of the Champion Bumper.

Yesterday was a good day for leading owner JP McManus as he had two winners while celebrating his 75th birthday. Today, the Limerick native has further chances as his green and gold battalion look for more glory.
