Motorsport excitement is building in Mayo as the official launch of the 2026 Mayo Stages Rally takes place this Friday evening, February 6, at 8pm in the Westport Woods Hotel & Spa.
Organised by Mayo & District Motorsport Club, the launch event is open to the public and will offer rally fans a first taste of what promises to be one of the county’s biggest sporting weekends of the year.
Attendees will have the chance to meet the organising committee, sponsors and competitors, while also getting up close with a selection of rally cars ahead of the main event in March.
Clerk of the Course Stephen McGing, along with Mayo & District Motorsport Club, has extended an open invitation to the local community to attend the launch, which is being held in association with title sponsors West Tyre and Westport Woods Hotel & Spa.
The Mayo Stages Rally 2026 will take place on March 1, 2026, bringing crews from across Ireland to compete on Mayo roads under Motorsport Ireland and FIA regulations. The official entry list will be published on February 21, 2026 at 8pm.
The launch event takes place this evening Friday, February 6, at 8pm in the Westport Woods Hotel & Spa. All are welcome.
