Mayo AFLW star Dayna Finn had a fantastic performance in round three of the competition this week.

The Kiltimagh woman put on a best-on-ground performance to help Carlton Blues to a 16-point victory over Western Bulldogs at Ikon Park on Saturday afternoon.

Finn was electric, finishing with a game-high 30 disposals, 15 contested possessions, and 346 meters gained.

"We're going after a high level brand of footy and I think what we did out there was super," she said on carltonfc.com: "I'm looking at the team aspect of things all the time, and what I can do to play my role and contribute as best as I can. We're taking great confidence out the football that we're playing."

Dayna Finn, a talented basketballer and prolific inter-county footballer for Mayo, signed for The Blues in 2022.

She established herself in the AFLW in the 2024 season, featuring in every game except one and using her elite running pin-point kicking to establish herself on the wing for the Blues.
