Dublin Airport have issued a major update for travellers across Ireland this as a huge change has now been implemented.
Holidaymakers and travellers will now be able to bring more than 100mls of liquids and they won't have to stick them in a little plastic bag either.
In a post on Instagram, security guard Dermo unveiled the news through a hilarious video saying "RIP to the plastic bag".

For years now, travellers have been used to emptying their liquid bottles into smaller bottles and popping them into a little plastic bag before they pass through the security scanners, but thanks to Dublin Airport's new high-tech security scanners, this routine has now become a thing of the past.

From now on, travellers can place their liquids, as well as any electronic items, in their own personal bags but in even more welcome news, the liquids you bring no longer have to fit in the 100ml and under rule. Passengers can now bring up to 2ltrs per item through security.
While this is great news for those flying out of Dublin Airport, passengers are reminded that these rules may not apply to other airports, so it's advised to check all rules and regulations in your returning airport before backing your bag.
