Fancy an evening with Leo Varadkar? It might cost more than you'd think

Did you ever want to spend an evening with Leo Varadkar? Well now is your chance as the former taoiseach will be leading an event this September to mark the release of his memoir Speaking My Mind.

However, tickets for the event come at a pricey cost of €51.50 per person.

The event, 'An Evening With Leo', will see Varadkar and Virgin Media's political correspondent Gavan Reilly host an on-stage discussion which promises to be "both political and personal" by the event’s organisers.

The conversation will be followed by a Q&A and guests will also receive a signed hard-back copy of his new memoir.

‘An Evening With Leo’ takes place at The Round Room in The Mansion House in Dublin on Sunday, 14 September from 7pm.

Speaking about his memoir, Varadkar said: “There is so much people know already about my time at the top but almost as much that they don't. I have the freedom now to say things I could not while holding office and I have enough distance to reflect on the mistakes I made as much as what was achieved.”
