"The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His remains have been transferred to the mortuary at Waterford University Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, was transported to Cork University Hospital for assessment," said a spokesperson.
