ALERT: Popular clothing brand's hoodie recalled due to 'lacking in structural integrity'

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has issued a recall on a clothing item from a well-known UK clothing brand. 

Lanehunters Limited is carrying out a recall on the Armoured Black Hoodie with Kevlar and Level 2 Padding Set.

The brand, which was launched in 2023, specialises in creating stylish yet protective clothing and gear for motorcyclists.

The risk presented by this product is injuries.

The hoodie's structural strong layers are lacking in structural integrity and protective capabilities, in the event of a fall, the rider may suffer injuries. 

There are approximately 14 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
