Garda continue to appeal for witnesses of fatal crash as suspect released without charge

A man in his 20s who was arrested in connection with a fatal traffic collision on the N11 near Oylegate, Co. Wexford on November 27, 2024, has been released without charge.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí continue to investigate the collision and are appealing for witnesses and road users with dash-cam footage from the N11 at Whitefort and its environs between 4:45pm and 5:45pm on November 27, 2024, to contact Enniscorthy Garda Station on (053) 9233534, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

A Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) has been assigned to lead the investigation and a Garda Family Liaison Officer (FLO) is providing support to the family of the deceased.

The scene on the N11 remains closed as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination. Local diversions are in place.
