A motorcyclist has died following a road traffic collision in Co Fermanagh last night.

Police in Northern Ireland have launched an investigation into the collision in the Dernawilt Road area of Roslea, which is just a short distance from the Fermanagh-Monaghan border.

PSNI Inspector Cherith Adair said that they received a report of the crash shortly before 10.30pm on Sunday, and PSNI officers attended the scene along with emergency service workers from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.

In a statement, Inspector Adair confirmed that "sadly, the male motorcyclist passed away at the scene".

The PSNI also confirmed that an investigation to establish the circumstances of the crash is now under way, and the Collision Investigation Unit is appealing to anyone who may have any information or footage of the incident to get in touch.
