Limerick Lotto player scoops €1m top prize

The National Lottery is calling on Lotto players across Limerick to check their tickets carefully as one player had a life-changing weekend after scooping the top prize of €1 million in Saturday night’s Lotto Plus 1 draw. 

The winning Lotto Plus 1 numbers for the draw on March 9 draw were 7, 12, 32, 36, 40, 45 and the bonus was 16.  The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning store location in Limerick will be revealed in the coming days. 

“It may have been a Saturday to forget for Irish rugby fans but for one of our players in Limerick, it will be a night to remember for all of the right reasons!

"This player has become the latest National Lottery millionaire of 2024 and we are urging all of our players in Limerick to check their tickets carefully today as one player has a ticket worth a life-changing amount. The €1 million winner is advised to make contact with our prize claims team and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize," said a National Lottery spokesperson.  

The Limerick winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep them safe. The Limerick player should make contact with the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prizes.  

There was no overall winner of Saturday’s Lotto jackpot which was worth over €4.1 million but over 87,000 players nationwide won prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus games.

Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot now heads for a life-changing €4.5 million.
