Gardai investigating the violent death of a man in Dublin late last year have arrested two youths.

The 50-year-old died shortly after he was discovered unresponsive outside a private home at Dromcarra Avenue, Jobstown, Tallaght on November 15 last.

A post-mortem examination confirmed the man died violently and a major garda investigation has been ongoing for several months.

In an update, issued this Tuesday morning, gardai confirmed they have made a number of arrests.

A male juvenile who was arrested on Monday has since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A second man, aged in his late teens, who was arrested this Tuesday morning is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a garda station in Dublin.

Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
