A motorist who tried to avoid paying their car insurance but continued driving on Irish roads has been caught by gardaí.
After being stopped by gardaí who were on patrol in Dublin 2, it was found that the driver's insurance disc, while in date, had been cancelled once it was put on the windscreen.
We were on patrol in Dublin 2 recently when we stopped this car.

It was found that the driver's insurance disc, while in date, had been cancelled once it was put on the windscreen.
The car was subsequently seized.

The driver of the car will go to court and their non-insured vehicle was seized.
